I started a blog report about taxpayer-funded lobbying in Texas at http://taxpayerfundedlobbying.blgspot.com.

I was aware of the problems with this before I started writing the blog but through my research since then, it's a much bigger problem than I had realized.

I don't think the public has a great degree of awareness about this yet.
