Al Gore is a winner in the world of do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do. A February 26 Tennessee Center for Policy Research media release reports, Gore’s palatial 20-room, eight-bath mansion “consumes more electricity every month than the average American household uses in an entire year…” Ironically, TCPR notes, Mr. Gore’s “energy consumption has increased from an average of 16,200 kWh [kilowatt hours] per month in 2005, to 18,400 kWh per month in 2006” since the release of “An Inconvenient Truth,” which admonishes the rest of us to consume less energy at home.
