Gore the Energy Ox
Mr. Gore can easily afford the extra costs that he is imposing on himself. But for millions of Americans, the extra costs imposed by emissions caps, pollution taxes, efficiency standards, what have you, are serious enough that we ought to ask whether the pain demanded by Mr. Gore is worth the bother.

I found the Tenneessean article very informative.
Mr. Gore has deemed the political atmosphere "toxic" and the TCPR is dutifully contributing to it.
However, the offsets Al Gore employs to reduce his carbon load were inspiring.
Rather than trash the man he should be applauded for demonstrating that the American Dream does not have to come at the expense of the environment.
