A person who supports a law AND who also benefits financially from it MAY be right.

On the other hand, make sure that it doesn't violate some important principles, such as the free choice of consumers.

It's ironic to note this in a story on selling cars, but regs that kill home-based businesses contribute to road congestion, road-based pollution, and other ills.
