Rep. Bobby Jindal, who is running for the office of governor of Louisiana, has put forth his plan for health care reform. Former Speaker Newt Gingrich is impressed, saying that it represents "a model of fresh thinking on health care reform."

Among the proposals (you can read the entire plan, in PDF), is the suggestion that the state should consider adopting four Medicaid waiver proposals that have been adopted elsewhere.
