Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged should be in a theater near you in 2008. Can’t wait that long for the red carpet to be rolled out? On Oct. 6, 2007 be in Washington, D.C. for the 50th anniversary celebration of the publication of Shrugged.
About the movie. In a Sept. 10 email from the Atlas Society, trustee John Aglialoro states, "There are still a few details to work out but the project is moving along well. The script has been given conditional approval. I'm optimistic that the movie will be completed in 2008." Aglialoro has insider information: He is the project’s co-executive producer.
