Some insurance companies are taking similar measures, as detailed in other posts on this site.

That's fine, since the companies must compete for customers--even if the customers are not the end users of the insurance, but corporate HR departments.

The NHS, on the other hand, has a privileged position.

Watch out and you may see states emulating this practice.
