SCHIP Debate on NPR

Filed As:  EventsHealth Care

It doesn't have the wrestlemania flavor of a cable TV talk show, so an upcoming debate on National Public Radio may offer a good contrast of visions, understanding, and expectations about SCHIP and health care policy generally.

I received the following note from the National Center for Policy Analysis (links added):

John Goodman will debate Robert Greenstein (executive director of the liberal Center on Budget and Policy Priorities) today on National Public Radio's "To the Point" program. Goodman and Greenstein will debate expansion of the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP), the hot topic on Capitol Hill this week. Emily Pierce from Roll Call will also appear.

"To the Point" originates from NPR's Los Angeles affiliate KCRW-FM (90.9) and airs on NPR affiliates across the
country.

A full listing of stations and times can be found online at KCRW.

You can listen to the show live online.

If you cannot listen live, you can listen later to an archived podcast of the show.
