If you favor personal health care freedom, there's little to cheer about in an Obama Administration. So you look for bright spots whenever you can.
Arizona Gov. Janet Napolitano is rumored to be up for a cabinet seat. Napolitano opposed the recent ballot question that would have constitutionalized the right to health care freedom in the state. The measure failed, but just barely, suggesting that her influence made the difference.
Next in line for the governor's office is the secretary of state, a Republican. I don't know her views on health care policy, but Republican leaders in the legislature would, if they value freedom (and I don't know if they do) do well to act quickly to enact whatever firewall they can before the action in Congress gets ugly.
