A "University" for the Free Market

The Acton Institute for the Study of Religion and Liberty announces that registration is now open for the 2009 edition of Acton University, a four-day festival of learning that takes place Tuesday, June 16 through Friday, June 19, in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Participants, who include policy nerds, seminary students, business leaders and anyone interested in a free and virtuous society, can choose from many different seminars on topics ranging from the philosophy and religion to economics and public policy.

Topics especially relevant to public policy include:

Truth and Fiction: Economic History of the Great Depression

Myths about the Market

Why Keynesianism Failed

The Economics of Healthcare
