With everything else going on in Congress right now, "mental health parity" is not on many peoples' radar, but the Rio Grande Foundation and National Center for Public Policy Research are teaming up to keep a close eye on the Mental Health Parity Act as it is making its way through the Senate.

A few weeks ago, I blogged an article that appeared in a few of the New Mexico newspapers. Another article focusing on mental health parity recently appeared in the publication Human Events Online. 

The momentum of this harmful legislation seems to have slowed, but one can never underestimate the combined forces of Ted Kennedy and Pete Domenici.
