We've spoken on this site about the mindset that says "If you can't afford a Lexus, you're walking," but the state of New Hampshire is actually putting that way of thinking into practice.
It will void the insurance policies held by 800 people in the Granite State, on the grounds that they are too lean to be counted as an acceptable policy.
Granted, the policies appear to have rather limited benefits. But according to state policy, it's better to be without any insurance than to have even a modest plan.
So much for the uninsured.
