Climate Change Policies Cost, Not Save, Money 

A $5 billion reversal

The State of Washington's Climate Advisory Team claims that its climate-related recommendations will bring $950 million in savings to Washington.

The Washington Policy Center disagrees, noting that an analysis by the Beacon Hill Institute at Suffolk University finds that they will instead cost $4.2 billion. Even for state government, that's a lot of money.
