Georgia Passes First Voucher Law 

Georgia Special Needs Scholarship Act

Filed As:  Education (k-12)

Modeled after Florida's successful McKay Scholarship program, the Georgia Special Needs Scholarship Act, provides up to $9,000 for each special needs student currently enrolled in a public school. If signed by the Governor, this bill will allow these children to use those funds at another public or private school of their choice.
