Not only is it unacceptable that NJ did not verify income. Recall that Gov. Corzine joined with former Gov. Spitzer and Gov. Schwarzenegger to sue President Bush for his proposed rule to stop states from enrolling higher-income kids in SCHIP before enrolling those below 250% of the Federal Poverty Line. Gov. Corzine didn't even know the incomes of NJ residents enrolled in state health plans before running to DC to demand more of our money. Incredible!
