How Risky is Individual Health Insurance?
Interesting. Does the paper say whether the guaranteed renewability (GR) feature is mandated by a state law, or is included in the policy by choice?
I recall reading in a book co-authored by Pauly (published by AEI, I think) saying that many policies offered GR before legislation mandated it.
Also, can you site the paper you reference? I'd like to blog about this at PatientPowerNow.org.
