The health of our republic depends on public education.

I don't mean government-run schools. Rather, I mean the education of the public--about important principles of economics and constitutional government.

The Mackinac Center for Public Policy has a project, "Students for a Free Economy," which is "dedicated to promoting the benefits of free markets, civil society and individual liberty" among college and university students.

SFE recently won an award from the Atlas Economic Research Foundation.
