Charter Schools Benefit Students

From Education Week (subscriber link) comes news that among middle-school students in Chicago and Florida, the graduation rate for charter public high school students was 11 to 14 percentage points higher than for those in standard public schools. They were also more likely to go onto college.

The work was conducted by Tim R. Sass, an economist at Florida State University.
