Yes, yes, it's all very well for Professors Emanuel & Fuchs to criticise employer-sponsored health care, but why can't they just let consumers take it over? No, they want an Institute for Technology & Outcomes Assessment (as if none of that gets done already) and mandated electronic health records. I suppose they prefer Emanuel/Fuchs-driven health care to consumer-driven health care!
