Do Judicial Elections Favor School Choice?

Does the public oppose school choice? Here's one reason to think "maybe not." Writing for the Show-Me Institute, Justin Hauke points to reports suggesting that school choice does better in states in which popular elections have a say in who is and is not a judge. But I suppose that makes sense: school choice, much like electing judges to office, gives the grass roots and not the elites the final say.
