Got Better Education Ideas? Send ‘em to Pioneer Institute 

$10,000 is top prize for best idea

The Pioneer Institute’s 18th annual Better Government Competition is focused on improving Massachusetts education. Specifically, the Institute seeks ideas that decrease drop-out rates, increase graduation rates, increase attendance rates, improve student performance and make schools safer. Entries are welcome from across the country and around the world. A Grand Prize winner will receive $10,000 and four runners-up will receive $1,000 each. Don’t delay: Entries must be postmarked or e-mailed by April 7, 2008.
