Oregon is one of the most beautiful states in the country, in terms of landscape as well as residents. In many ways it's quite progressive and forward-thinking.

However, this health care plan is disturbing. Over a half a million residents have no coverage and the plan is to treat us like some Convenient-store game? Over 80,000 people have applied for a the coveted few "tickets" available. It's embarrassing.

Funny how we don't need to have a lottery for shoes or winter coats, or things that haven't become too bureaucratic.
