Gunnar Strömmer spent nine-months in 2001 at the Washington, D.C.-based Institute for Justice. The following year, he founded the Centrum för Rättvisa, Sweden’s first public interest law firm. CR, like IJ, has begun taking on eminent domain issues. IJ’s February 2008 "Liberty & Law" newsletter reports, CR is representing a couple in Burlov; local authorities there "want to take the couple’s home and give it to DHL, the giant German transport company." Tell your friends across the Big Pond about the Centrum för Rättvisa and the numerous other European groups that advance liberty, property rights and markets.
For non-Swedish speakers, visit Centrum för Rättvisa's English page for its mission statement and other general information.
