Baltimore Sun does Q&A With Greg Scandlen

By Paul Gessing

Filed As:  Health Care

Rarely does the media -- especially liberal newspapers like the Baltimore Sun -- give free market proponents the space to explain their positions at length, but that is what Greg Scandlen of Consumers for Health Choice did recently for readers of that newspaper.

In his interview, Scandlen explained why he got involved in the fight for  market-driven health care, how consumer-directed health care can work and why it would be superior to the current situation, and he discusses some issues particular to Maryland's regulation of health care and insurance.

Not only was Greg able to discuss the superiority of markets to government management of health care in a coherent manner, but he put a human face on our efforts to reform a broken system.
