Golf is the least essential of non-essential government services. In much of the country right now it's too cold for local governments to open these non-essential services for business. Or is it? One city course in Michigan is rolling out a golf course simulator.
The city calls it "just like golfing on a real golf course," an assertion that true golfers will dispute. Whether or not the golfing is real or simulated, municipal golf operations should take a DQ (disqualification) and withdraw from the competition.
(A tip of the golf cap to Golf Blogger, who points out several privately owned enterprises where you can use a simulator.)
