Gregory Mankiw makes some interesting points in his new paper for the American Enterprise Institute in which he discusses a few widely held beliefs about the US healthcare system -- Canadian healthcare is superior to the US system, 47 million Americans are uninsured etc -- and whether they hold up to scrutiny. As Mankiw clearly shows, they do not. An interesting and quick read.
